Delegan | Embroidered Plakhta in Black

A modern take on a traditional Ukrainian folk garment, the plakhta.   A plakhta is traditionally a layered skirt or skirt-belt, similar to an apron.  The designer imagines this version can be worn layered over other pieces, and worn off to the side to give the appearance of a pants or a skirt with two different fabrics.  It also looks wonderful layered over organza pieces.  The embroidery is truly stunning.
